Ordering Conditions

(UPDATE 4-17-2012 - Current Turnaround time is about two weeks to ship date from time of order)

• Most orders are completed and shipped within One Week. -- All orders are custom made so at times things can run a little longer depending on our current work load or other unforeseen circumstances such as Material Availability. If you have placed an order where you submitted a tracing, original or anything else, please expect two weeks for your order to be completed. If the turnaround time is expected to exceed two weeks then we will do our best to inform you.

• All orders are Pre Pay

• Once an order is placed it is final. Any changes must be submitted within 48 hours of the time the order was placed

• Cancellations for any reason will be subject to a $5.00 processing fee. If the item has been made or is in any stage of production a 25% to 50% restocking fee will be deducted from any refund. If the item has been shipped and you refuse receipt then a 50% restocking fee and shipping will be deducted from any refund.

• Template, Setup, and Artwork fees are non refundable charges.

• Returns are subject to a possible 50% restocking fee and shipping being deducted from any refund. SEE RETURN POLICY BELOW

• You agree that you have read the order page for the item you are ordering which indicates what the item is intended for.


Shipping

International customers have two shipping options: Both methods are calculated based on your order total.

• Priority Mail International - this is highly recommended but yes it is quite a bit more than first class. With this option you will get a tracking number from the US postal service provided you supply an accurate email address and you are set up to allow email from them. - you may need to check your SPAM folder. You will also have a guarantee of a replacement should the item be lost in the mail.

• International First Class shipping - This shipping method will be used at your own risk. You will not receive any tracking information or any guarantee of refund or replacement should the package be lost in the mail. NO EXCEPTIONS. It can take as many as 4 weeks for delivery. Before you contact me about your order delivery please check with the customs office at your local post office

USA Customers

• USPS Priority Mail or First class on any item with free shipping. The email address you provide with your account will be submitted to USPS so they can send you tracking information regarding your order. There is no tracking with first class mail.

• If you want an alternate shipping method you will need to place your order by email or phone.

HANDLING FEE:

All shipping rates include a handling fee so the actual total shipping cost reflected on your package may differ from the shipping charge from my store.

Yes I charge a handling fee. Why? because it takes and extensive amount of time to finalize, package and ship your order.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS:
If you are an international customer you should know that we have to declare a customs value on all merchandise shipped. You are responsible for paying any additional customs charges that may be added by your local postal service.

International Shipping and Customs Declarations- We declare the value of the product such as the pick guard but we do not declare the value of the template fees or shipping. We will not declare an order as a gift or a lesser value than that of the actual product you ordered. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If for some reason you missed this information or are simply unaware that customs charges exist and you decide you want to refuse the packages you will only receive a refund for the total of the product produced. You will not receive a refund for any shipping charges.


Returns

Before returning any product, please e-mail us with an explanation for the reason of the return. Please reference the invoice number located on your invoice. Please include a copy of your invoice with the product.

If the reason for return is our error, we would first like to resolve any issues with a replacement or rework but full credit plus shipping will be issued should you decide to abandon the project. Any defective parts must be reported to us within 48 hours (or 2 business days) of receipt of goods. Any part which, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer's instructions, and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange or refund consideration.

For returns based on Non Fit Issues: We provide resources and services to our customers to ensure that what you get from us will fit your application. It is the responsibility of you, the customer, to take advantage of those resources and services which include printable PDF files and Laser Cut Mock Ups. In addition you can send us a tracing or original to match up to our current templates. Because we give you these options in advance of making your final order we will not refund any shipping amount from your order and a restocking fee of up to 50% of the purchase price of the pick guard may apply. You, the customer will be responsible for return shipping.

Returns based on PDF Outline Issues: If you want to return a item because the product you received does not match the PDF Outline then you must include a copy of the PDF outline you printed to compare it to with your return. Failure to include such PDF outline will result in shipping incurred by Terrapin Guitars for the original order to be deducted from any refund.

Any returns based on material color are subject to a 50% restocking fee. You are given the opportunity to order samples prior to ordering your pick guard.

Please note that the standard pick guard materials such as the pearls and black and white etc. come with a protective liner. The liner must remain on the pick guard for it to qualify for a refund. Please check fit without removing the liner. If you remove the liner you will NOT be eligible for a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the day the order is shipped.
